Tasting Experience
This summer, discover everything oysters and wine with our new Oyster & Wine Experience, hosted in The Shack Reserve — our beautiful new outdoor space.
You’ll learn where oysters come from, how to open them like a pro, and what makes them such a special part of coastal cuisine. Get hands-on with your own shucking, then try a selection of our favourite house toppings.
The experience ends with a full guided tasting of a selection of premium wines, carefully chosen to bring out the best in the oysters and give you a real sense of what makes them shine.

OYSTERs AND FINE WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE
By booking, you are confirming that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

- All bookings are non-refundable. We are unfortunately unable to make refunds for reservations made for this Oyster and Wine tasting experience. However, we are always happy to reorganize your booking to another date.
- We have limited availability; bookings will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We are currently taking online bookings for tables of 2-6 guests. For larger bookings, please email or call us, though we have very limited availability for large parties.
- We do not allow guests under 18 in this area or experience.
- We do not permit dogs in this area or experience.
- All bookings are for a 1.5-hour period. We will do our best to accommodate your table for a longer time if we can, but on rare occasions, we may need you to vacate your table after the 15-hour period.
- For latecomers, we must begin the experience by 11:05 at the latest. Please consider the tide times, as they may add 20 minutes to your journey. We will try to accommodate all latecomers to the best of our ability.
- Bookings are not confirmed until we have responded via email or telephone.
- For all bookings, if you do not hear from us within 24 hours, we apologize and ask that you email us at bigbury@oystershack.co.uk.
- We reserve the right to cancel a booking at any time.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to guests if required.
