Chris Wins at Western Morning News Business Awards 2011

The Sunday Times Foodie Destinations UK

THE OYSTER SHACK seafood restaurant is so delighted to be listed Number 7 out of 10 in the South West region in the recent Foodie Destinations UK survey in The Sunday Times.        Owner Chris Yandell said “We are absolutely thrilled to be listed amongst such stellar names such as Gidleigh Park and other  great seafood restaurants in Padstow, it’s like David and Goliath!!   We have tried very, very hard to provide a unique eating experience here, great food, cooked simply in a great atmosphere and it seems to be working. “        The Shack has a great team who are so passionate about what they do, it show in the results.      The £12 for 3 courses is the success at the moment and of course, their New Year’s Eve Party is not to be missed.

What are we looking for?

The Oyster Shack is now recruiting Chefs of all levels to join our highly skilled kitchen team.     Under the guidance of our Head Chef, Ben Davies, the right candidates will need to be passionate about food, good team members, who are dedicated and able to thrive in pressure situations.    

You will be required to work 5 days a week.   Very competitive rates of pay for the right people.

We understand that an increasing number of people rely on internet access whilst they're on the go, and sometimes, this includes a quick surf during lunch! It's easy, all you have to do is ask a member of our Crew for the passkey, and away you go!
